Berserk, it's all about the layers if you want to make a GIF like the one^^^. What I did was take a sig I already had, layer>duplicate layer, then I changed the color just a teeny bit. Then I kept duplicating layers and changing the color a teeny bit till I came back to the color I had when I started. When you finish, go filters>animation>optimize for GIF, then save as, pick option save as animation, and upload to whatever image site you use. I originally tried to give you a link to the tutorial that goes more in-depth with the GIF, but I think gimptalk crashed 
. I also think I missed a step or two 
but it should work.
