this is the sig i just created. I strongly believe that it could be made better. I would appreciate any sort of suggestion, little or big, to help improve my sigs in the future. :)

Well im stil learning also, but i think you should blend the renders into the background, and use some C4D's because they can make your deign look realy good and also just looking up sometuts can really help you also.

photoshop cs2. the only software i have :(
should i get something else?

and kaos, i tried blending the background, but to keep the theme of the background flowing with the logo in the center, i had to blend the logo also. but when i blend the logo, it gets completely messed up
I wanted to add like a trail to the sword to show that he's swinging it, but didn't know how to do it :(
I also wanted to add some more effects to the characters, but couldn't find any more ways to do so :(
photoshop cs2 isn't that good i guess

Well if you wanted to blend it without messing up the logo you should put it on a different layer that way it wont get blured.

I don't know, I'm not familiar with photoshop so someone else would have to testify if cs2 is good or not. I'd assume it will do just fine. I can't really give much advice other than what kaos already said... Other than that I would say look around for tutorials (tuts), try to learn more about the program. Over time you should improve. Patience and humility are key.

they were on different layers. when i add blending effects to the background, it looks fine. but when i add it to the logo, it gets messed up. I can't lower the blending effect enough to make it look good.

Is this your first sig? If so its pretty decent compared to some of the other first timer sigs. One thing that is good is the text which is something first timers can't normally do right and you did a good job. Explore the internet and look at some tutorials thats the only way you'll get better.

Embedded vimeo videos will not play in HD because I don't have a paid account on vimeo. Click on the HD button to view the video in HD on vimeo's site if you so choose to do so.
