+ lighting is good
+ text isn't bad

- blending
-no direction, and no motion

This isn't the best example. But here goes with an old sig.

Notice the direction and motion of the sig.

Even the text is going with the motion in that direction

Notice I put some blue lighting on the face to make it look more real. It is poorly done...but it is there. That is a good lighting technique to incorporate into your sigs. Changing the color of parts of the render that would come in contact with that lighting in real life.

This isn't the best example of lighting or blending, But you should at least incorporate colors from the render in to the background. I chose to use yellow from his hair and tried to put a little orange from his jacket. I should have put more blue, but I was not thinking.

I hope this at least helped a little.

well gimp gimp has almost everything photoshop does....but gimp names everything different and uses different terms and stuff so it is kinda confussing to alot of people. And C4D's are just things that you put in your sig and they can really help and can completly turn your sig from a ok 1 to a great sig it adds so much more effect and overall makes it look better. YOu can get C4D's just by google.com them and go to planet renders and get them they are the abstract things also you could find them on deviantart.com

I trust everyone, just not the devil inside of them.

C4D's aren't always good. I feel more often than not they ruin stuff rather than positively add to it. It just varies... depending on how they are used and what not. Anyway, Eruption my advice is get familiar with the program before you poop out another sig. The best part of that sig is the render. Google does wonders man just search "GIMP tuts" and you should find some good stuff to go off of.

Next time you post I hope ya have something better to show. wacko
