and go to dafont.com>download>save it to desktop>then when it is done downloading,click open folder>then click on the compressed zipped file>then extract the files(theres a button on top that says extract files 
)>then a new screen will show up copy the true text type file>then go to computer>disk c>then windows>fonts>and then paste the TrueTextType or whatever it is into the fonts file.Then the next time you open up gimp.Look through you're fonts,You should find your selected font in there.
