Try to take longer then, put some effects in it, blend it better, put some lighting. All these things make for a much better sig. Look up some tutorials, they help tremendously even if you only pick up a few things.

same i watched every sig on this website from gimp to photoshop (used ps and used the gimp terms of what they did and use dit on gimp) then after i went to gimptuts.com, looked on youtube and everywhere else tuts HELP ALOT!!!!!!!!

your render is way too small so the focal gets lost and the BG colors do not go well at all with the render. use colors similar to/same as your render and don't shrink your render so that it is boring and leaves a lot of space. this is very basic stuff.
